Pan Balance Scale Demonstration Lever, 10.75″, Low Friction Pivot for Precise Balance & Measurement, Two Pans. Pan balance scale with low friction pivot. Apparatus includes base, support rod, mounting hardware brackets, zero offset rod, horizontal balance lever, balance needle, protractor, pan holders, and two removable pans. Perfect for comparing masses and the study of torque, center of gravity, levers, moments, and static forces. The low friction brass pivot point gives more precise balance and measurement. Lever and supporting rod are made of aluminum and steel, it’s base is made of plastic and both of the pans and supports are made of stainless steel. Apparatus stands 10.75″ tall, and is 17″ wide. Each pan measures 3.5″ in diameter and is 0.4″ deep. Comes assembled.
