KIMBLE® High Precision Specific Gravity Hydrometer, Tall Form, SG 0.880-0.950, case/1
Hydrometers are used, among other things, in the production of alcoholic beverages (e.g. beer or wine) to measure the exact density of the liquid before and after fermentation and thus to determine the alcohol content (in percent by volume).

• Complies with the requirements in ASTM specification E100 and is calibrated to ASTM specification E126
• Manufactured from soda-lime glass
• The certificate of traceability indicates that the hydrometers are manufactured using devices calibrated using NIST traceable standards
