Diphenylamine is an organic compound that is a derivative of aniline and it consist of an amine bound to two phenyl groups. In its pure state it is a colorless solid but samples are often yellow due to oxidized impurities. The compound dissolves in organic solvents and is moderately soluble in water. It is used mainly for its antioxidant properties.
