The Corning 36060-2LF Pyrex Buchner Filter Funnel is a large-capacity laboratory funnel made from high-quality borosilicate glass (Pyrex). This 2-liter funnel is designed for efficient vacuum filtration of larger volumes and is particularly useful in applications where filter paper might be attacked by the filtered substance. It features a fixed, fine porosity fritted disc with a pore size range of 4 to 5.5 µm, eliminating the need for separate filter paper and ensuring excellent retention of fine precipitates. The funnel has a 127mm diameter fritted disc and a beaded top edge for durability. It’s important to note that the fritted disc should not be subjected to pressure differentials exceeding 1 atmosphere.
