The Corning 36060-150F is a precision-engineered 150 mL Buchner filter funnel designed for high-efficiency filtration without the use of filter paper. It is a standard for analytical chemistry where the filtrate or residue may react with or degrade paper or membrane filters. The funnel is fabricated from Type I, Class A borosilicate glass, making it highly resistant to a number of solutions and organic substances. The fine grade of the frit signifies it is held specifically toward the minimum pore diameter for maximum particle retention. it also features a square-cut, fire-polished beaded top edge for increased mechanical strength.
