Description
Compact Tru-Stir Shaft Coupling fits 19mm Shaft OD for use with Jacobs Chuck. Similar to CG-2044 but the overall height is 1 shorter. The unique design of our Tru-Stir™ stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/8 of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs. Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter with a one piece collar for attachment to 10, 19mm stirrer shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used with a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck or motors having shaft diameters of 5/16, 3/8, 12mm, 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4. Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16 end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 3. Supplied complete with an Allen wrench set. NOTE: THE 6.35MM SIZE FITS THE 10MM PTFE COVERED SHAFT. Made in the United States.
