38mL HW Pressure Vessel, Cylindrical, #15 Internal Thread, Complete, 25.4mm O.D. x 215mm Length, Bushing Size/15. Heavy wall pressure vessels have an internal thread for use with PTFE bushings as pressure seals. The unique design allows hand tightening and loosening for easy access into the vessel. O-ring is positioned on the bushing above the thread for improved sealing. Vessels are useful for pressure reactions and applications such as polymerization and analysis of halogens by thermal decomposition in the presence of lime. Supplied complete with vessel, PTFE bushing and Viton o-ring. Other sizes are available, please call for a quotation. Optional Perfluoro o-ring has the chemical resistance and service temperature range similar to Kalrez® 4079. See CG-362, CG-364, and CG-366 for optional PTFE Bushings. IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALL CHEMGLASS PRESSURE VESSELS ARE TESTED AT 150 PSI, OR APPROX TWO AND ONE-HALF TIMES THEIR RECOMMENDED WORKING PRESSURE. HOWEVER, CHEMGLASS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE VESSEL FROM BREAKING UNDER PRESSURE, DUE TO THE NATURE OF MATERIAL AND CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
