Description
The BenchMasher™ is ideal for contamination-free sample preparation. Applications include but not limited to large solid sample breakdown, polymer mixing, Trichinella testing, pathogen and microbial detection. Samples are placed in 400ml sterile blender bags which are sealed upon closing the door. Stainless-steel mixing paddles are used to rapidly strike the bags – producing thorough mixing and homogenization without having any direct contact with the sample. The full color touchscreen allows users to adjust mixing speed, cycle times and temperatures up to 65°C. For easy maintenance, each instrument comes with a 254nm UV light to perform a complete decontamination.
