It is constructed from borosilicate glass, known for its excellent chemical resistance and ability to withstand thermal stress. This specific vessel features an internal #15 thread. This threading is designed to be used with a compatible PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) bushing and a Viton O-ring, which together form a secure, greaseless, and hand-tightened pressure seal.
